We are grateful to the Team at Mail Metrics to join its Annual Conference - Communicate 26 on Thursday 12 November 2026 to discuss 'Who is Responsible for AI governance?'. Communicate 26 is all about "Scaling Trust in the Age of AI".
What: Communicate 26: Scaling Trust in the Age of AI
Date: 12 November 2026
Time: 09:00 - 17:00
Location: Convene 22 Bishopsgate, London
Registration: https://mailmetrics.com/events/communicate-26
As AI becomes embedded in more customer interactions, that question is becoming harder to avoid.
At Communicate 26: Scaling Trust in the Age of AI, Mail Metrics CEO Nick Keegan will sit down with Peter Oakes, former regulator and Founder of Fintech Ireland, for a fireside chat on where responsibility for AI actually sits.
Between the business deploying it, the technology provider enabling it and the regulator setting expectations – who is ultimately accountable for making sure AI is used responsibly?
Peter brings experience from both sides of that conversation. His career includes senior regulatory roles at the Central Bank of Ireland, FCA, ASIC and Saudi Central Bank, alongside expertise in AI, corporate governance, directors’ duties and data protection.
Nick and Peter will also draw on new Mail Metrics research into consumer attitudes towards AI to explore an important gap: what organisations can do with AI versus what their customers actually expect them to do.

More About Communicate 26
"Communicate 26:Scaling Trust in the Age of AI
Join Mail Metrics in London on 12 November, with industry practitioners and AI speakers, as they discuss the impact of technology and regulation facing customer communications teams today.
At last year’s conference roundtable discussions, the one thing that kept surfacing was: trust. Trust in security, in the clarity of communications, in consistency across channels, and even between teams internally. Customer communications are often the most visible point of contact between an organisation and its customers. When they’re unclear, inconsistent or poorly designed, trust breaks down.
Communicate 26 will address the immediate tension facing organisations today: AI is already reshaping customer communications, while customer expectations and regulatory scrutiny continue to rise.
As organisations move faster to adopt new technologies, the risk of inconsistency, poor design or unclear messaging grows, putting trust under pressure. And as regulation continues to sharpen the focus on transparency, data responsibility and customer understanding, communications are no longer just outputs; they are a direct reflection of how an organisation operates.
Join our speakers as they look at how trust is built through clarity, consistency and control, both externally with customers and internally across teams, and what it takes to scale that trust when AI is part of the system.
We are building on the success of last year's the interactive sessions and creating the Innovation Hub, a space for showcasing innovation, customer success and practical applications of the Mail Metrics platform."
